AnnaJyoti exists to eliminate hunger and reduce waste by creating a seamless connection between those who have surplus and those in need. We believe that no food should go to waste when there are hungry people just kilometers away. Through technology, we make donating as easy as ordering food online.
Our founder witnessed excess food from a wedding being discarded while homeless families slept hungry nearby. This contrast sparked the idea for AnnaJyoti.
AnnaJyoti launched in Lucknow with 5 partner NGOs and 50 registered donors. First donation: 30 meals from a birthday party.
Expanded to 10 cities across Uttar Pradesh. Crossed 1,000 donations and onboarded 50+ NGOs.
Present in 48+ cities with 156 verified NGOs, 2,340 volunteers, and 12,847+ meals saved. Growing every day.
